"I cannot recommend Keith enough for help with any cabinet project. He helped us with the process of remodeling our kitchen from initial cabinet design to install. He respected our DIY attitude and was generous with his time and expertise in all areas of the kitchen remodel. He was also resourceful when our DIY hopes were dashed after finding out that our cabinet install was a bit more complicated than average. Our cabinets look wonderful and we are so happy with how the project turned out! I would drive from the far reaches of the Bay Area to work with Keith, but luckily he is just a few exits away from us. I would go back there for help with floors and carpeting if the need arises just because our cabinet experience was so stellar."

"I had been visiting various suppliers looking for kitchen cabinets. My needs required some custom work or major adaptations of standard cabinets. If I went the custom route, I wanted something that was unique in style, not just something that fit in the space. Although I had lived in Castro Valley for many years, I was not aware of Cabinets Etc. until my windows supplier referred me to them as they were just upstairs. I spoke with Keith Martinelli extensively about my needs. While I was there, I noticed the striking lyptus wood cabinets that they had on display. The color and the grain were truly unique. The company that made these custom cabinets got the best quality imported wood from Weyerhaeuser. Cabinets Etc. had been working with the cabinet company for years. I lost track of how much time Keith spent with me, but he was never rushed. Not only did he come out to the house for measurements, but he came by to inventory the cabinets when they arrived and several times during the installation. Keith was not only able to design exactly what I wanted, but referred me to a contractor who had these cabinets in his own home and had worked on a similar house down the street from mine. He was simply superb and exceeded expectations. The installation went smoothly with no missing/needed or damaged parts. The cabinets were extremely well constructed with quality materials. Although I had not planned on getting a new refrigerator, I did so after the cabinets were ordered. Keith had designed the layout to fit in a bigger refrigerator. Everyone who has seen the kitchen have remarked how beautiful it looked. Even my daughter, who has worked with a home remodeling TV show, was impressed. As kitchen remodels are expensive, most people are concerned about the price of the cabinets. I got one quote that was lower and one that was higher, but none as unique as what I got nor did they come close to the service I got from Cabinets, Etc. I highly recommend them."

"I've been meaning to write a review on Cabinets etc for a while. Keith Martinelli came to my house and took the headache out of taking the measurements for my cabinets. He really listened to exactly what I wanted. I had several other quotes from other cabinet companies and Keith came in about 6,000 cheaper. For me that was a huge difference and I ended up with beautiful soft close cabinets. I wasn't looking for the cheapest but wanted something that looked nice, was not Ikea and didn't break the budget. If you are looking for a contractor run don't walk to Steve Evans who also helped make Keith's kitchen cabinets look perfect! A big thank you for helping me achieve my vintage kitchen."

"Keith at Cabinets Etc recently designed and supplied cabinets for our kitchen remodel. I will tell you several things about Keith. First of all, you will not find someone more knowledgeable about cabinets anywhere. Besides knowing everything about designing cabinets for all the different brands that he has been supplying for many years, before that he used to install cabinets. Before that his family manufactured cabinets. If there is some difficult space creating major problems for the designer and installer, he will figure out all of the details. The second thing we discovered about working with Keith is that he really listens. Not only does he listen, but he is able to come up with creative ideas and implement them. We were working within a limited budget and told him that we did not want any custom or fancy features. Because of his extensive knowledge, he figured out how to supply us with cabinets way better than we expected, including many built-in improvements. Because of promotional discounts which he could arrange, we were able to upgrade with the brand, the material, and the quality of the construction. Although we only ordered stock cabinets, he incorporated various filler pieces into the whole which are invisible, giving the entire kitchen a custom look at a stock price. Another thing we appreciated was that Keith was there from start to finish. He didn't disappear once he got paid. He showed up after the delivery process and checked every box to make sure we received the correct materials. Then halfway into the kitchen remodel, he came to our house for a few hours to explain to our contractor exactly how to install the trim pieces that he designed. In addition, he was constantly on call for us. If a problem showed up with a particular cabinet, he immediately offered to replace it. It turned out that none of this was necessary because he knew a number of tricks regarding the installation. Towards the end of the project we were short one trim piece. He special ordered it from South Dakota and it was delivered directly to our house, on a Saturday, right before the project ended. I would also like to mention that Keith was a very enjoyable person to work with and he genuinely seemed to want us to be happy with our kitchen from start to finish."
